If you want to help our local squad of platypus, plus learn how to fish sustainably, come along to the Catch a Carp for the Platypus event on January 11th.
Carp degrade waterways by increasing turbidity and competing with native species. Join us for a morning of fun, fishing and education to support our local waterways.
The event includes:
Sustainable Fishing Workshop
Macroinvertebrate Discovery Activity
Presentations from local experts
The event is organised by Melbourne Water and kindly supported by Fish Care Victoria, Victorian Fisheries Authority, Bacchus Marsh Platypus Alliance and Werribee River Association.
This is free event, but you must register – Register for the Event Here
