Starting on April 29th, an initiative will commence to remove and substitute a number of deteriorating or substandard trees along The Avenue of Honour. This activity is in alignment with the Bacchus Marsh Avenue of Honour Management Strategy and Preservation Plan that has been officially approved.
This task is being carried out as a reflection of the Council’s continuous dedication to maintaining the Avenue of Honour as an ever-enduring tribute.
After extensive discussions with various parties involved last year, the Council approved two crucial documents, namely the BMAOH Management Strategy and the BMAOH Preservation Plan. These documents are intended to steer the future management of the Bacchus Marsh Avenue of Honour (BMAOH).
