Local Bacchus Marsh and Ballan identity Paul Tatchell is running for the seat of Eureka in The Victorian State Election on November 26.
We strongly support Paul’s bid to bring back sensible policy and to bring much needed local knowledge to the electorate.
As many people in Bacchus Marsh and district know, Paul has been a tireless worker in the region for decades – as a business man, contributor to social issues and as a Civic leader. Paul has been a Moorabool Shire councillor for over 10 years, and has been Mayor 4 times. After years of neglect by a long line of Labor party members, Paul represents a real chance for the region to grow and prosper. The ongoing neglect from Labor is not to be brushed off lightly: as many voters within Eureka have voted Labor as a habit, it is time to tell Labor that the people of Eureka will not be taken advantage of again. The devastating Labor lockdowns of 2020-2022 and the abuses suffered by many people exercising their democratic rights should be reason enough to give Labor the ‘Red Card’ and install Paul as a sensible operator who has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the people of Eureka.
Paul’s priorities are to improve roads and the health system, lower living costs, decrease taxes and lower regional rail travel prices. Says Paul – “I’m not your average politician, I’m just a normal everyday person that believes in our community. I want to put some common sense back into Spring Street, and depoliticise it,” he said.
